I was born in a city with the name of a couch. My parents' initials were AC and DC. I'm the fourth generation of only child daughters. You can type Teresa entirely with your left hand, but only if you spell it without the 'h'. The Saint Theresa who spelled it with an 'h' was a stigmata (ugh) but the Saint Teresa who spelled it without an 'h' was a mystic (cool). Except, if Mother Teresa is a saint now, there are two who spell it without the 'h'. I belong to a religion which has a lot of its roots in Transylvania and boasts Benedict Arnold as one of its members. I grew up in a state called "snow topped," in the city of The Meadows, but I now live in a city named for the fourth U.S. president. I have a calico cat named for the Goddess of Victory, or for the tennis shoe - take your pick.

I sent my DNA to the National Geographic Genographic Project (and you can, too, at https://www3.nationalgeographic.com/genographic/) to have them tell me who my distant, distant, ever so distant ancestors were and where they traveled when they left Africa. My maternal line is Haplogroup H1* and my paternal line is haplogroup R1b. And you know what they say about *those* people! :-)
